software OS4   software OS4 : SketchBlock 1.9 A Jittery Release.
   posted by broadblues on 6-Feb-2013 2:07:52 (2290 reads)
SketchBlock 1.9 Released!

A jittery new version of SketchBlock is available (check out the Paint tool to see what that's all about).

As well as the extended PaintTool this one comes with an About window specially for nbache, a prefs editor at last, some gui improvements, and a move tool.

The preference editor requires ProAction 1.5 to be installed.

Read more ---->

Get it via amiupdate (This is the best way as it'll insist you install ProAction 1.5 first).

Or from os4depot.net:
http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=graphics/edit/sketchblock.lha

Have fun!

@All

Sketchblock 1.9 is not yet approved as such, it's still in the upload queue, go there if you want to download v1.9 and not the 'old' v1.8.

@Andy

Sketchblock is becoming better and better with each release. Well done, keep up the (good) work.

It's not available via amiupdate either.

@swoop

It's showing in amiupdate for me.

It will only show if you

1. Have an earlier version installed.

2. Have allready installed ProAction 1.5

If both of those are true for you, then try again, it simply may not have been approved at the time you checked for it.

I have proaction1.5 installed in sys/utilities.
I have sketchblock 1.8 (as per icon/info) installed in Work2/Graphics/sketchblock.

The only AmiUpdate avaiable is for flipclock.

Do I need and assign for proaction?
Is the icon info correct the file size is 1,876,815 and the creation date is 5/12/2012.
BUT that is the same date as the readme and the changelog file, all the drawers are showing 'yesterday' as their creation date.
Something has gone wrong with the install/update.

those are the correct file size and date for sketchblock 1.8
directory dates change with the wind, so don't worry about them.

note that amiupdate only fetches the archive there is no autoinstall just yet.

ProActionCtrl needs the script bit enabled in the icon before it will pop up a window and set an appdir. Then Sketchblock behaves itself.

Have not seen sketchBlock on amiupdate so downloaded it.
