| Installed it for the first time on the SE and it works great.
I suppose it will fly on an X1000, ok, maybe that would be
my second reason to buy an newer NG Amiga.

| I installed 2.6.11 over the previous install meaning that the filters and loaders remained as they were. That went OK. Then I loaded over them the two new filter packs and the two new loader packs. When I started up Gimp the splash window about initializing plugins came up and nothing. I did wait a long time but nothing was going on.
Next I operated the uninstall script so everything was removed. I reinstalled Gimp but no plugins. Gimp 2.6 stopped at the same point.
In case it needed the filters and loaders I then put in the new archives. There was no improvement.
