I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

looks like a good start, nice shapes, i bet this game could be made to look really fresh with the right colours and music and general eye candy.

@all
Some small facts about this game improving:
sonds??? - what sounds - click,click,click - tadaam! - and this thousand times.
My choice - create silent game.
music??? - I have trouble adding music e.g. mp3 at this moment. And everyone music fans should has own good music on hdd. Game is tested with running Amigaamp in background - not problem.
My choice - create game without own music
any two colour pieces??? - It hardest than you imagine. If you look at gfx - you see that is anti-aliased for nice looking. So recolour it is not just use fill tool in paint program. And I start learning about alpha channel, some knowledge/coding possibilities are future.
My choice: create gfx as good as I can than not try impossible things because can be look too poor.

@mrdarek

Clean and simple GFX is always effective. Seems like nice game concept.

Nice little game, witrh an interesting concept, gets hard quite quickly!

One or two techinal notes.

You seem to be rendering your own mouse pointer image, directly, but as far as I can see it's just a custom pointer image, nothing that requires this, so have you considered using pointer.class to create a 'proper' custom image? This would give a smoother effect and be less confusing if you want to navigate back to the workbench with the mouise (the pointer currently disappears as you move over the screen title bar requireing guess work when clicking the screen depth gadget).

What about a wndowed mode on workbench?

Using RMB for start feels wrong to me why not LMB ? or a keystroke or perhaps a small menu with choices like "start new game", "exit" etc

Freeware after 20 euros? You'll never make you first million that way

I hope tips about pointer class will read Chris and give me some tips how to do.

For my every game users want fullscreen, not window. So I drop window idea for this game from start. I try go to fullscreen but temporary it occurred ineffective and slow. I hope it will be possible in future - little unbelievable but true - fullscreen mode was just slow. Another task to do for PortablE author, but don't blame him - without his support game was be not possible, everytime PortablE is updated for to be able handle my code. The current mode is a compromise.

RMB button used to preventing user unaware advancing to next level without last looking on his level success. Well, on start can be programmed, Currently I go into easy way and not programmed another active point to click - I was so lazy :P Also I think - typical user not like using keyboard, only click game is fun. So better not boring users looking for space on start if they have mouse in hand!

Freeware is only 1 euro. 20 is limit to free4all game. Now is only 12 and I reupload free game! Just get your regkey from me and will be only 11 or less if you donated more. (I hope so peoples not think in this way about Age of Thieves - for this game key got for 5 euro (but that game I produced by 7 months...), for sum 50 game will be free...)

I've played this game for a silly number of houurs on my itouch, registered this version straight away.

The only improvement I would like to see is to have the current game state saved on exit and restored on startup.

all registered files sended, if someone not got it - remind me by email. If someone register game and solve board 10x10 - it can start game from any size and density (freemode is active on title page )- that is my idea for "save".

On your last bigger donation it possible that I not send anything, but that donation ended other task - so I not prepared key but prepared free game. Sorry if I offended you.
@all
Hmm. I sending "thanks word" and short manual how install key. Usually there are not large amount of donations so I can handle it manually.
I not learned how create paypal counter on www, maybe I should (but I should also do something for peace on world - but when? ) ???
Anyway - now is only 6 euro to release total free game - anyone want help finish task? All peoples who donate should get his keys, if not - remind me!

@broadblues
MrDarek's game is written using PortablE's (kinda AMOS level) simplified graphics system (or he might have used it's simplified sprite system).

He reported slow speed & mouse pointer problems when using PortablE's true (Intuition) double-buffering, so I think he tried using a fake mouse pointer as solution, but in the end still not good enough so went for 'fake' double-buffering. So I'm not sure why he's still using a fake mouse pointer - it shouldn't be needed.

I am puzzled why true (Intuition) double-buffering was so bad (for him). I need to look into it. But I did notice that the real (Intuition) mouse pointer would glitch *while moving* if Intuition was asked to swap the screen buffers... any idea if Intuition double-buffering should work properly with Intuition mouse pointer? Maybe some bug in my code somewhere. (Until recently the real mouse pointer was hidden on true double-buffered screens, so I never noticed this problem.)
