| Yep, same with me. Sitting with the magazine right now.
The first that stikes me is how good quality the production is. Considering the doom and gloom the platform has seen, I have to say the magazine gives very much alive feeling. Good quality editing and content. The attached CD will be a welcome addition to my barebone installation on the A1200.
Have to read it thru and thru before I make any more comments, but so far Im glad I subscribed for a year
Quite intresting interviews, both with Toni and Amigastore.eu. Never heard of them before reading about them today. Checked their online webfront and it looks quite good^^
Looking forward to Issue 112 of AF. Should be plenty of things to write about then, like AmiStore, Radiance, maybe amigaclassic AOS final on Emulator? Epsilon made a nice presentation on AmiWest, but could it be turned into a good workrelated laptop with office programs (spreadsheet, wordprocessing etc). And more news about Octamed ?
Anyhow. Good read and looking forward for more. Last edited by Overflow on 06-Nov-2014 at 07:41 PM.

All are ready and stable like updating from 1-6 steps+add-ons. Some parts included from 4.2. The part I was a bit worried about or didn't understand that JFXS is Read-only as it has some flaw that can not be corrected?!? |

JXFS cannot be salvaged (if something goes wrong) because there are no tools and has shown lots of glitches in the past (going as far as destroying volumes/partitions) ... i didn't know that they changed it to read-only in FE, but imho it's the only logical step to take...JXFS is bound to vanish if noone is going to work on it anymore. |

| Aye, basically it was a heads up; get ready to transfer your stuff from JXFS volume/partition.
Seems like a good idea to me based on what was written in the article. Now people have time to prepare for it, so it doesnt come as a suprise on upgrade day |

| I already got rid of my JXFS partitions after losing a few of them...... I'd settle for JXFS or FAT for that matter....
What got into 4.1fe from 4.2 ? _________________ Theres a time to live and a time to die When its time to meet the maker Theres a time to live but isnt it strange That as soon as you're born you're dying

| A good read, looking forward to OS 4.1 final edition. I had the misfortune to have to try and boot AmigaOS from the update 2 disc that came with my A1-500 after messing up kicklayout, was not an experience I would want to repeat! Will be great to have an up-to-date disc and looks like there are also a few nice new features too.
@djnick
Not quite, article focuses on possible use of web apps for office tasks, e.g. Google Docs. _________________ gtmooya's blog
