software OS4   software OS4 : AISS 4.20 available
   posted by Mason on 2-Jan-2016 19:26:04 (2153 reads)
The Amiga Image Storage System (AISS) offers a photo-illustrative icon style for toolbar images - it approaches the realism of photography but uses the features of illustrations to convey a lot of information in a small image.

AISS is an environment to store, access and maintain this toolbar images. For more information about AISS please have a look at the documentation.

The new release features more than 8,300 images in the AmigaOS 4 icon design and for compatibility reasons all pictures and animations of the previous releases.

The new archive is available on the website and OS4Depot.

What pointers have changed for you in which program?

The standard intuition pointers are not affected by AISS, they are held in icons that come with intuition.

The custom images that are containined in AISS have 4 states the #?_s version still seems to be red, which is the way the AISS ones have always been, I use this in SketchBlock to have a activly dragging resize pointer, for example, change colour.

@Mason

Great work, nice to see another update!
