RNOPDF is a compact PDF viewer, which has been available for RTG and NG Amigas. A cut down version of the program is now released for Amigas without graphics cards.
RNOXfer, the only FTPS client for Amigas, has also been updated to version 1.1 and it includes the following changes: - Fixed handling of certain special characters in filenames - Added drag & drop uploading - Added an option to hide the local lister - Added file selection functionality by pattern matching - Added an option to view or download double-clicked files - Improved local drag & drop - Improved advanced.conf functionality - Changed the default viewer setting to C:WBRun on OS4 - Minor tweaking
Fixed some bugs in RNOXfer, so please update and sorry for the inconvenience.
Version 1.2: - An overlooked debug line broke recursive downloading in v1.1 - Drag & drop failed for icons with no actual file or directory - Added options to launch external programs after transfers
I will give it a go sometime; However it would be fantastic if it could work on a plain 68000 or 68010! Viewing PDF's is one of the few really basic tasks PC's have been able to do for the past 25+ years that my A2000 can't.
Obviously PDF viewing on ECS with a 7mhz CPU would be too slow to be usable. I'm thinking mainly of Amiga's with 68000 based Accelerators e.g. ACA 500plus or my Supra Turbo 28. Even a plain 68010 may be just enough to be usable for the very smallest/simplest PDF's.
Good to see things improve on the PDF viewing front anyway
