Is this a different video than the one that was already shown a couple of days ago? (I'm downloading it now, just in case it's different) And yeah it's kinda slow... I'm only getting around 22KB/sec, but that's better than nothing at all.

Yeah it's different than the other one, not much new really. I couldn't get the divx version to work, but then this computer isn't very good, the mpeg version worked fine tho.

I downloaded the mpeg-1 (352x288) version last night at 250 KB/s.

It is a different video! Some good video of OS4

Good video although a little blurry ar times.

"[DigiBoosterPro] ran well when it was left alone but I did see it crash a lot when it was being used."

"I did see [OS4] crash a few times but that is to be expected considering it is in early alpha."

"One of the [Pegasos] machines seemed to have difficulty booting and I saw one lock up, one of the Genesi representatives said and I quote ?oh well it reboots quickly?, which I found amusing."

Let's all hope the final products will be much better than this. We don't want Amiga to be known as the computer system that crashes just as much as the other guys but reboots faster...

Thanks for the kind words guys, much better than what I've just been reading on another news site, almost had me in tears.

The DivX seems to of corrupted uploading, im having it reuploaded now.... It played fine after I encoded it, at least it did using the official DivX 5.5 codec.

You can't control what other people say but you can control how you respond to them. Besides, everyone (myself included) is quite liberal with the sharp comments as we hide behind a computer facade.

Nice report Ryu..thanks!

Hummm, others not treating you kindly? I wonder if that had anything to with no High Praise for an "other" OS?

Liked the travel pics too.

Hi there Ryu,

Thanks for the report, DL'ed the video but didn't work and I have the latest DivX5.1 PRO on here, but i'll try again later

Also, don't worry about people slamming you for concentrating on the Amiga. It's simple, the Amiga and it's community existed LONG before MorphOS, MorphOS came out and they touted it as THE alternative to the AmigaOS which will never be released. People are seeing now OS4 WILL be released and they suddenly realize "Hold on, we don't have this community to ourselves anymore" and because the Amiga community started with the Amiga and NOT MorphOS, of COURSE we're going to show more passion for the Amiga's own OS, and since they jumped in on this community they have to realize that - MorphOS looks great, but alot of people want OS4 - so they have to live with people who cover OS4 and NOT MorphOS so much - because MorphOS doesn't interest them, that's not biased in anyway at all - it's all to do with what interests the person writing the review.

We are an AMIGA community, therefore most of us are excited about the Amiga's OS as we know it, how it feels, responds, how the S: C: Libs: etc ..... work, we're comfortable with all that. For other to say your review is biased is totally blind to the fact that this is first and formost an AMIGA community.

@ Ryu

It shows that you have put alot of effort into your report and the result was very informative and fun to read and watch. Please don't take too much notice of the few but vocal (often anonymous) losers trying to discredit your efforts. Mostly the better the effort and positive towards AmigaOS the more vocal such people get.

Thanks alot Ryu!

Deffinately good, I finally got the video working - YAY Awesome to see OS4 actually being used like that.

Also, on the new audio program on the peg (Will there be an AOS4 version? Digibooster or something?) I noticed it was playing one of my favourite songs of all time - Chronologie Part IV by Jean-Michel jarre so I was double happy
