software Classic   software Classic : Dir Me Up 4.15 released for AmigaOS 4.1... and 3.2 RTG!
posted by Glames on 7-Nov-2025 16:34:51 (447 reads)
The modern explorer for Amiga, Dir Me Up, is now available for AmigaOS 4.1... but also for AmigaOS 3.2 RTG !

The list of new products is available on our dedicated page.

This update, as usual free for all registered users, has been made available online.

You can download a demo allowing (only) browsing
here or there.

AmigaOS 3.2 RTG release

For the first time, Dir Me Up is also available for AmigaOS 3.2 RTG. Please note that this version should still be considered beta and requires a powerful machine to fully take advantage of the software's features (WinUAE, A600GS, Vampire V4SA...). Before purchasing, you should try the demo version, which allows you to navigate and change the graphical theme, giving you a good idea of Dir Me Up's performance on your setup.

Please visit the official page.

Dir Me Up, enhance your Amiga!

Great to see Dir Me Up getting an update! This sounds like a really useful tool to enhance Amiga’s capabilities. Thanks to the dev team for keeping the Amiga spirit alive — can’t wait to try it out and see how it improves workflow.

Wow, AmigaOS 3.2 RTG gets some love! Bet some folks are dusting off their old machines. I wonder how well it runs on a real A600GS. A beta version, huh, always a gamble. Reminds me of the time I tried installing a custom operating system on my ancient laptop. It bricked it instantly. geometry dash frustration was nothing compared to that! Good to know there's a demo though, smart move by the developers. Hopefully, it brings some fresh air to the Amiga community.

Oh my god, Dir Me Up (Amiga's legendary explorer) ported to AmigaOS 3.2 RTG is absolutely incredible! Optimizing modern graphics software to run on a retro machine like Vampire V4SA is even more challenging than perfectly timing the tempo for a classical music track in Sprunki Game. A free update for registered users like this is so generous, I have to go test the demo right away!
