software Classic   software Classic : Dir Me Up 4.20 released for AmigaOS 4.1 and 3.2 RTG!
posted by Glames on 20-Dec-2025 11:31:47 (546 reads)
The modern explorer for Amiga, Dir Me Up, comes back for Christmas on AmigaOS 4.1... but, as you know, it's also available for AmigaOS 3.2 RTG!

The list of new features is available on our dedicated page.

This update, as usual, is free for all registered users and has been made available online. Each user should have received an email from us. If not, please check your SPAM folder.

The demo, which allows navigation and theme changes, has also been updated.: AmigaOS 4 and AmigaOS 3.2 RTG. The version for OS 3.2 RTG requires a powerful machine. TEST the demo before purchasing!

Please visit the official page.

Dir Me Up, enhance your Amiga!

Has anyone else tried the AmigaOS 3.2 RTG demo? I did, and wow, my poor machine chugged! Is it worth upgrading my graphics card for the full experience? Probably, because even the limited navigation was impressive. Now, does anyone know if they added a basket random theme to the AmigaOS version?

@BettNorton, Here are two videos that show Dir Me Up on AmigaOS 3.2.3 (WinUAE)
https://youtu.be/cgwdU6CWqv0 and https://youtu.be/lSRMOMHqaRs
that can help you.

@ r-tea, If you mean “open several tabs” within the same window (as is possible in a browser), then no. However, several windows can be opened (so far, only on OS4).
