Annotate updated with a quickfix
Poster: Deniil715 Date: 23-Nov-2025 16:31:11

OnyxSoft release another update of Annotate

Annotate v3.1.1 - (OS3,OS4,MOS,AROS) A programmer's text editor with a lot of functions such as syntax highlighting.

- Fixed the crash bug in the AmigaOS 3 68k version. The bug depended on the font size, which is why I never noticed it when developing this code. Retesting with a different font-size immediately gave me the crash as well. Now fixed.

- Version string was wrong in the auto-update system, so it never detected new versions automatically. Now you should also see auto-updates, but maybe some strange $VKR: text

- Simpler error message when the syntax definition cannot find the autodocs it tries to load. It came to my attention that reading autodocs automatically, assuming they always exists, might be the wrong approach. I simplified the error message, giving a direct link to the config page where autodocs can be switched off, if you're not a developer.
