If anyone is interested in a Os4 demo here in the Midlands within the next ~ two ~ three weeks, could you please post your nick in this thread.

The Meeting will be at THIS hall. the link explains it all.

Rigo has provisionally agreed to bring his gear up to Diesel City and I will have all my gear there too.

Its all in the planning stage atm, So, lets see who's interested.

Paul

@The_Editor

If it goes ahead, I'll be there, have camera, will travel.

If it does, maybe I'll produce a composite DVD of the best bits of ANT, Newcastle and this one.

W'ton, Dudley, Stourbridge would be great. B'ham would be manageable.

Peterborough? Does that really count as the Midlands? I always thought it was Bernard Mathews country?

er ........ (As a truckie, I really would know this)

Bernard Matthews ( I deliver to em) is around 90 miles ------------------------> that way, from here.

Birmingham is only a lazy 2 hour drive away from Peterborough ( In a TRUCK)..

( I've been delivering in and around Brum for the past two weeks)

So you're pretty much stuck in the middle between Bernard and B'ham, than :)

From what I remember (years back, mind you), rail connections from B'ham to Peterborough are pretty dire; sadly, that'd stop me getting to a showing.

In terms of a Midlands showing of AOS, I really think Sven Harvey ought to be looking to up his profile here and step in...

@yoodoo2

iirc you can get a train from New Street Station directly to Peterborough station.

Westwood is about 1.5 miles N.NW of the station ... Just say to the taxi drivers .. Stafford Hall, Hampton court..Westwood. (Off Wicken Way)

Map

If you decide to walk .. Come out of train station .. turn North (left turn ..A15, Bourges Boulevard) and walk up to Westfield Rd (2nd) roundabout. Turn left .. (West) and walk to roundabout.. Turn right (North) and walk to second roundabout ..Turn left (West)... Shopping Centre is directly in front of you .. Walk inbetween shops and you bump into Stafford Hall.

This is the easiest route to explain, but not the best way .. That way is Via Mayors walk.. Priory road etc Because it has footpaths and pedestrian crossings enroute... (You dont really wanna use any subways/ underpasses do you !! )

I live in Cosgrove Close, so am VERY close to hall.
