Looks like some pretty tragic news over here:

Did anyone of you know Mr. Vidal? Quite depressing stuff. My sympathies for the family and friends.

@cell

Almost every Amiga User in the New york area knew him.
He was a big part of the Amiga scene usually in the background helping out.
He never took credit for all the things he did.

He was a kind and gentle person who alway's had good things to say about people.
Noboody could ever be mad or sad with Lou around.

He has left a very big void.

It's always the nice one's

A friend of mine died the same way, but the driver that hit him was drunk.

Yes, I unfortunately saw this tragic loss through one of Cecilia's posts here on AW in one of the news articles. I believe Lou is a member here? With the nick "Vidal". I wish to express my sincerst condolensces to Lou's family, and to all those affected by this tragic loss.

Sometimes I think we take each other for granted in this little community of ours. We may not know each other face-to-face as it were, but we all have experiences which we shared, share and will share. My hope is that through this loss, we all see each other as a brother and sister.

Rest in Peace Lou

This is so very sad... My thoughts are with Lou's family and friends who are now trying to deal with the loss. He will be missed very much. I didn't know Lou, but I knew instantly who he was, as I've read the QUAG website many times, looking at the articles and meeting reports.

I've renamed the topic so others would know what this is about.
