Is the engine geared towards the future? I entered both "Samantha" and "ACube" and got no results?

I'm not sure if I would use it, but if you ever plan to do your own search engine site, like google & hakia and plan to IPO it, I'dbuy shares _________________ Men who have girlies in their avatars are Girliemen! |

That could explain the missing results. |
No. It's set. I refer to entering data only on the top line for the internal search using IBrowse or AWeb. I got no results.
The link from your post #9 here worked just fine in Amiga browsers.

Does "no results" mean the usual google response:
Quote:
Your search - whotsgoingonherethen - did not match any documents. Suggestions: Make sure all words are spelled correctly. Try different keywords. Try more general keywords. |
OR doesn't it send anything at all ,so that the page looks PRECIZELY the same before and after your search?
EDIT: OK , i just saw your "edit" REGULAR iAMIGA doesn't work in Amiga browsers then??? Thats really bad news.!
I had it working in Aweb 1.0 , once -so i just assumed that newer browsers would work too.
EDIT2: Don't bother with Aweb 1, the page at iamiga.info never worked there either.. -This is what i remembered:
-At least my test-link works...Last edited by iAMIGA on 11-Mar-2007 at 06:45 PM. Last edited by iAMIGA on 01-Mar-2007 at 07:41 PM.

Exactly. Using only the top box, not the link underneath, the page basically reloads here in identical form.

Tried "spoofing" as other browsers in IBrowse. Still no luck.

Don't give up hope until you get some confirmations here. I happen to be on dialup which does cause issues on numerous sites, etc. Wait until you get a few responses from those with high speed connections.

searching for "quake 2" returns MORE results than searching for "quake" ??? And none of them seem to point to files on aminet or the version Hyperion sold?
Searching for "caos" returns a single foreign-language page, but not Andy Finkel's description of "what could have been" from the Dave Haynie Archives site.
Zero search results for "romtagmem".
Some other esoteric topics did seem to come up with something, at least that had a more directly useful link on one of the result pages, such as INT2 fix for A3000. "A3000 int2 hack"
I figure that if I'm expected to decide if I'll use something again, I'll skip the easy questions and go right to the hard ones. I might use it now and then, but google itself seems to get me to what I want a bit faster. It'd be nice if it searched through aminet and os4depot file descriptions too. Sorry no one else using Amiga browsers reported back to you here. I checked with an Ibrowse user in irc and he had the same result I reported. No results from the top line search, just page refresh basically.
