| As many from read my post know I from Japan came to wait for the X1000 for fun and have also bought some Amiga machines while wait. I also see new Commodore C64 and see that I think, don't need another low PC power but think maybe I buy one for funny collection thing. http://moobunny.dreamhosters.com/cgi/mbmessage.pl/amiga/195148.shtml Company is maybe a fake and do not even making the case yet? I no pre-order. People you see my other posts tell me no go to this site so I post here for truth. After read the message from the link you think I should give up for the C64 new? |

I had my suspicions from day 1, but yeah it's becoming increasingly evident the whole thing was a fake. I never saw any actual proof they had Commodore/Amiga licencing, and the low-budget website, stolen images, lack of any credentials, now mysteriously no product a month after world-wide media ran the story of the new "C64".
I think the whole thing was just a hoax personally, I doubt we'll ever see anything from CUSA, I doubt they ever had any licence either, just Amiga Inc are dormant so never challenged them.
One thing I will say though, is they pulled a good one! Made the BBC, CNN, Telegraph, Guardian etc. with their C64 story. |

I think new "C64" will be released before this summer. Delays aren´t unusual in the land of Amiga. Thread you linked is full of harsh words, moobunny seems to be really desperate place. |

I haven't been able to find any verification of the Disney/CUSA Tron promotion from a Disney source. Google does not find any documents that match 'commodore site:corporate.disney.go.com'. This seems a bit odd.

| I think I read it and it says the metal mold is not even finish yet. They have not actually made a finish metal mold. The picture of the early post was only one half the mold. So zero production has begun. They are in the process of just making the mold, but are still not in the process of even making yet even one of the case.
Make a concern that they sell them already and they not even have the equipment to make the cases. Big concern for a Japan company. I think you test at least one working completed metal mold no? Before the selling begin? Make a own decision I think I give up trust for this kind of business practice, but this a only for me decision.
This was just was a wrote, so not done and still much do before the mold is even done. Quote:
top mold was completed and I think it's tomorrow that the lower mold is completed. Then it goes to get tweaked and final acid bath before it goes to the company that is using the mold for production Mold #2 is about three weeks behind that and I believe steal is being cut on Mold #3 in China. |

As soon as you read that Amiga Inc are involved you should get suspicious. Nothing that they writes about becomes reality. They are not in it for anything that got with the Amiga to do as a computer or philosophy.
I would really like to know what they're doing and why (Amiga Inc). |

Relax.
For sure, as soon as they can dream up another 'story' , they will tell the world.

You are right, it disappeared! However, I think it is only "website design" problem. |

Hello WiiNinja, you utterly fail at copying the English mistakes of a native Japanese person.
