Amiga Inc is back, and so is the same kind of bold talk they used to talk back in 2000/2001. My question is, how much of it do you believe this time?

@smithy

Why do you care? I for one don't. If anything happens, fine, if not, we are no worse off than we are now.

I am interested to see how many people believe now compared to 5 years ago, when, judging by the forums in those days, almost everyone believed. I'd even suggest they managed to cultivate a superbeing-like image about themselves back then too.

Just curious to know what public opinion is today.

I gave up after seeing the Amiga name sold from company to company. Now I just sit back and enjoy the drama. Talk is cheap.

I don't believe any of it.

I don't believe there's an OS5, in any shape or form. I don't believe Amiga Inc have any intention of writing any OS, and I don't think they have any money to do so anyway.

I think talk of OS5 is just BillMcE poisoning the OS4 well.

I dont even know if I believe Amiga Inc of Deleware even own anything "Amiga" anymore.

@Mikey_C

I prefer the Vic Reeves & Bob Mortimer with EMF version... 'Oh yes...'

I don't believe much these days, I just hope!

Just on a point of order, if you don't believe nothing, that means you believe everything.

It's the old double negative situation.

That's funny...when I lived in Pleasant Valley Sunday was my favorite day of the week.

@smithy

I believe most of it.

I most point out that Amiga Inc as delivered on most of there promises.
During there period as Amiga company they have managed to get the flowing product to the market whit help of Hyperion + Eyetech and Hagge & Partner.

I think it’s where likely that AmigaOS5 is going to be contract work of some sort, considering that contracts are what Amiga Inc is best at.

Amiga DE (work based on TAO/Intent)
Amiga Anywhere (work based on TAO/Intent)
AmigaOS 4.0 (Development licensed to Hyperion)
AmigaOS XL (Development licensed to Hagge & Partner )
AmigaOS 3.9 (Development licensed to Hagge & Partner )
AmigaOS 3.5 (Development licensed to Hagge & Partner )
AmigaOne-SE (brand Amiga name & OS licensed for use whit hardware)
AmigaOne-XE (brand Amiga name & OS licensed for use whit hardware)
Mico-AmigaOne (brand Amiga name & OS licensed for use whit hardware)

That’s not too bad considering the following company’s that never produced anything whit the name or based on the hardware.

Viscorp,
ESCOM,
Gateway
Amino

What I don’t believe is there schedules and the details about AmigaOS5, the way Amiga Inc hypes up AmigaOS5 before we know what it is, simply silly.

It is nice to hear from 'The brass' but I prefer results not rhetoric. As soon as I see product's moving with OS4 again thats when i'll be happy with A INC.

Wizz.

@Smithy

I don`t believe a word and I think it`s abominable of them to do this to OS4/Hyperion`s potential market.
