Fred Fish passed away last Friday.

Something should be named after him.

@T_Bone

Fred Fish was a true Amiga celebrity for all the right reasons, this is sad news.

Any idea his age at time of death?

That is indeed sad to hear. Being an Amiga user since 1988, the Fish disks were my first experience in the big world of Amiga at that time.

Rest in peace, Fred Fish, you will be missed.

R.I.P. Fred Fish

I only used a few Fish disks when i got my first Amiga and later migrated to the A1200. They were always fun and easy to use. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family.

I still have all of the FF floppies that I bought over the years at my local shareware place. I remember how excited I was when the FF 1-1000 CD Rom came out, and I still have all of those that I collected over the years. I remember feeling bad for Fred when he was having virus problems at the time he was pressing those CD's (Expensive back then).

One of the FF CD's even boots up to a Workbench 1.3 on my CDTV, the rest following it did not. I think he ran in to licensing problems with Commodore or something.

He will be fondly remembered and missed by all of us that are left in the community. All my best wishes to his family

-Jeff
