I thought Hyperion only got rights to use AmigaOS4.0 not the rights to the Amiga name.
The Amiga Washington - Delaware deal is common (in Sweden at least). Nothing particularly dogdy but, of course, a company who pulls such stuff will lose its reputation as a serious company.
