@Androxyn

I agree with Androxyn, the immediate potential market is much larger than that of the number A1 machines sold as they were only intended for developers. Also the number of users that frequent this site is no real indication (it may reflect the minimum sales you could expect).

I for one only check the scene very infrequently waiting for the day when there is end user product worth buying. And I am fairly sure I am not unique in this regard.

I used to hope for some nice custom hardware with a new Amiga like OS. Now what I would most like (and defiantly buy) is AmigaOS4 native to x86 and standard PC hardware as there seems to be little future for PPC as a DeskTOP platform (ie. no real support ASICs and processors only targeted at embedded and console market). And more importantly it would mean I can save space by having a dual boot system for the times I must run Windows software. If only Amiga Inc didn't feel it necessary to make money from hardware licences (hence PPC only) and just become a OS sales company. I think they would make much more money this way. I would be happy to pay as much (or more) for x86 AmigaOS software only as I would for a PCC motherboard and software combo. The only software I would really REALLY like to be available for AmigaOS4 before I buy is Mozilla (Seamonkey or Firefox/Thunderbird).
