Compared with 10000 downloads made by Amikit for the same platform I would consider it a success!
It's a great success of VmwAROS LIVE. It doesn't need any platform compared to AmiKit. Needless to say AmiKit is not the standalone package. Additional files, like Amiga OS itself and ROMs, are required

Even that version doesn't work natively in my system. (They work only hosted.) There's always rapidly blinking keyboard leds and not much else. I can post more info here if needed.
I couldn't find any list what was fixed in the latest nightly build.

@AmigaBlitter Makes you wonder what could have been if OS4 wasn't crippled to retarded, overpriced and unavailable hardware, and was instead sold for classics or an Amilthon or VM environment.
