Using the CELL BE Architecture for a future Amiga would be drawing a lot of attention. Amiga would be at the height of innovation again.
Amiga needs to be good software PLUS cutting edge hardware again.
And I guess porting Amiga OS 4.x cannot be too difficult, since the PPE in the CELL is just a normal run-o-the-mill big endian Power PC processor (running at around 1.7 ghz, that still a lot faster than everything we have currently). Using the SPEs would be optional in the beginning, but could be used for more and more crazy stuff after a while.
