| From engadget:
Amiga Games Incorporated, and its library of over 300 titles, have been purchased for $500,000 by Writers' Group, a company that acquires and distributes digital content. The new owner is promising several announcements over the next few weeks, and hopefully one of them has to do with Overdrive.

There is this about Amiga Inc in the press release:
Leveraging the intellectual property of Amiga Inc., AGI builds on the "Amiga" brand and technology to create new revenue from publisher's dormant game libraries. |

I hope the 300+ collection isnt what they're reselling for blackberry. As that would only be license to distribution, not ownership. For example Vulcan has about 6 games on there, yet I dont think Paul sold the games to AmigaInc, so what are the 300+ games. _________________ Cross-developer on Windows, OS3, OS4, Linux; Current Projects:- Nephele Cloud App OS4 UserProfile System OS4 AmigaOneXE OS4.1.6

The Blackberry meeting is tomorrow, iirc.
Pressure reported to sell the company or its pieces. That would be stockholders, not the company's plan.

Sorry what I mean, AmigaInc are distributing AmigaGames(eg Vulcan series) as a Blackberry App(emulation rom+game) but Im just wondering if they are classing the 300+ games as the same games they put on the Blackberry Appstore.
The new $500.000 sounds like 300+ Distribution and IP rights, yet if this does include the Blackberry Appstore games, then how can someone have IP over eg Valhalla(Amiga Series), yet Paul is still selling Valhalla(PC) from Vulcan.co.uk. I would of thought IP would stay with Paul Carrington of Vulcan _________________ Cross-developer on Windows, OS3, OS4, Linux; Current Projects:- Nephele Cloud App OS4 UserProfile System OS4 AmigaOneXE OS4.1.6

Since we already have another, earlier thread regarding this here, plus a news announcement here, I am locking this thread.
Please feel free to use either of the others to comment. Thank you.
