Hi.

I've managed to port d2x (open source version of Descent II) to AmigaOS 4.0. It's available on os4depot.net. Note you need the full retail version or the shareware/demo files for this to work. The archive contains a script for easy installation of the demo version.

BTW compiling code using .so requires the beta SDK isn't it?

You need a newer GCC version than the one included in the last SDK release.

I don't think you need updated include files to use it.

Shared object support should work with the compilers from the adtools project alone. I am not quite sure about the newlib startup code, IIRC, everything is set up within the newlib.library.kmod, not in the binary itself. I'll check that.

OS4 has really nice features ... Too bad that it is not available on Sam400 or Mac boards. There are arguments to get more users.
