| VERY FAST, TRY IT !
History: 3.6 (10.2.2009) - Added support for using OWB local toolbar images instead of the global AISS ones and included an image set by Davide Calaminici. To use them move the files in "Resources/ToolbarImages/Davide Calaminici" to "Resources/ToolbarImages". - Disabled support for tabs when running on AmigaOS 4.0. - The progress bar is hidden again after loading the page has finished. - Added the file chooser for uploads from the old Blastoise version. - Instead of always creating new windows/tabs opening links in named frames works now. - Disabled rendering in inactive tabs which aren't still loading. - Fixed 4th/5th mouse button double back-/forward (bugs.os4depot.net issue #63). - Changed copying images to the clipboard from 32 to 24 bit since too much old software doesn't work correctly with 32 bit pictures. - No longer uses CLICKTAB_EvenSize, TRUE to make the tab labels as small as possible, it's using the GUI prefs settings for it now. - The window was made too wide sometimes when opening new tabs, fixed. - Changed "Copy as ISO-8859-1" menu item to copy texts in the local 8 bit charset instead of always ISO-8859-1. - The menu and context menu texts use "Tab" instead of "Window" now when tabs are used. - Redraw can be done with the F5 key as well now (bugs.os4depot.net issue #67). - Session cookies are removed and the cookie file is only loaded and saved once now. - Added scrollbar theme from the shellos branch of OWB. _________________ Sam 460EX, 2Gb Ram, Radeon R7 250, AmigaOS4.1 FE A4000 PPC604@233, Mediator A1200 PPC603@160, Mediator uA1 G3@800, 512 Mb [sold] |

| Yes, brilliant !!
Now a download manager, flash and... well I dont know what exactly I would need more...
edit: Oh yeah... Fastlinkbuttons are missing and normal preferences instead of tooltypes...
And yes.. It seems faster then IB ! Boy they are missing an oppertunity here.... Last edited by Metalheart on 11-Feb-2009 at 08:34 AM. Last edited by Metalheart on 11-Feb-2009 at 08:32 AM.

just don't count on flash. this will probably never happen. (it never happened on linux PPC, despite a wider, bigger community and demand)

I think it will happen. GNASH looks like what we need, but I'm not sure that the current OWB is compiled to use plug-ins....
No reason why it couldn't be jimmied in successfully though! |

OK then... We also need OWB to support plugins !
As a side note... I hate it that most of the mainstream tech probably will never make it to our platform. sigh....

am... have you actually ever used gnash ? the time it gets usable it won't be compatible anymore with most website as flash keeps evolving. Sorry i don't have hope on having flash working on a PPC machine. _________________

I use gnash on linux PPC and to be honest, almost nothing works with it. It'll just about show some youtube vids, but most media players don't work.
The only thing that works are the adverts! Unless adobe make flash fuly open source there no chance of ever getting real flash support on non adobe favoured OS's.

Ok, something must be wrng here???
I go to vesalia tonight, and I cant even select Software in the down menu thingy, better said, I select it, but it doesnt load to it, why???
Do I not just Unarc OWB 3.6, into a new drawer, than load it and use it, like all the other OWB's so far???
Cheers.
And sorry for being a pain the ........................
Kind regards
Gebrochen
EDIT I have gone back to using OWB 3.5, more functionality. :( END EDIT
Thank you for your continous support to the Amigan Community, and I hope soon we have downloading available to us again, like the old version of OWB,think it was 1.X something???
Cheers Last edited by Gebrochen on 11-Feb-2009 at 11:18 AM.
