Yes. We even have PyGame ported and some of nice games based on it like AlienBreed (not pygame based, but some parts of pygame included in the sources of game itself), MobiusSkyes, Panspermia and some others.

Also python on aos4 uses here and here, some scripting tools and related done on python in the os itself already.

For that we already have ARexx, and almost every "big" app have arexx ports (and from arexx, you can call anything you fish, and python scripts, and any other ones). Dunno about os4 version of mplayer and dvplayer, but i think mui-mplayer on mos have Arexx interface as well (i hope to port it soon or later), and mui-owb also have Arexx port as well (dunno if Ra-OWb have it).

As it happen's I have been looking at the YouTube Data API recently and the AmigaOS Python verison is comfortably above the required minimum requirement. There is a Google python library you seem to need to install to start work on this. Got so far and run into an error message, plan to look more into this tonight.

I am currently also looking at options for Dropbox uploaders, seems there are various solutions, cURL, PHP, etc.

A context menu and/or docky for uploading to YouTube/Dropbox would be nice, something similar to this for Ubuntu One.
