Yes, I always used Denill GUI as it make very easy to configure the player, don't know which output is selected by default via shell but atleast using the Denill GUI the preferred (video output) one is "default"
Try with it, there are tons of video output to choose so you can easily check which type of output are responsable of the crash 
Remember that you need to select one in Denill GUI before starting GetVideo _________________
