@all

My number 1 concern is to use the controller instead of the internal IDE interface. If any "Boot from IT8212" addition is planned for UBoot, together with DMA/RAID support, I can wait.

Otherwise, if the description for the specific SiI0680 controller that I saw was false and it can indeed do more than 66 MB/s, I'll go for that.

SCSI is not PATA is not SATA

If you have PATA you need SiI0680,
if you have SCSI you need IT8212
