@Herewegoagain

Well thats because its a propaganda war.

If you look on the "what is a true Amiga" thread you will see Lando claiming that the (unproven as yet ) "buggy" A1XE is a dead duck, but in contrast the Pegasos1 ( PROVEN AND ADMITTED TO BE buggy ) is a marvel of engineering!

I wonder, if technicians that built Amiga add on Apollo accelerator boards made a Intel based PC running AROS if hed say that has more "Amiga spirit" and be more "custom" than one made by Dell running AROS.

Its an example of the selective myopia that exists at the moment.

Well, the thing I don't understand is the way the price keeps getting thrown around about the $299 board, yet this has been HEAVILY marketed as a Phoenix/Dev only which were sold out long ago.... And those apparently are the 600MHz boards with the "buggy April/Articia" that don't work properly. So why is that board so attractive at $299 again??? It's a dead duck!
Sorry, but this is not true. The developer boards offered in the Phoenix offer for $299 are April2 boards. They certainly aren't buggy but they absolutely do work correctly.
