@ssolie

Your's is a different argument. I was reffering to is this foolish argument revolving arround 'Which is more an 'Amiga', the AmigaOne or the Pegasos'? They're both ATX class motherbaords with PPC processors instead of x86. Neither is more Amiga-like irregardless of who did or did not design them or how 'custom' they are/were.

Lets drop the 'Which is more an 'Amiga', the AmigaOne or the Pegasos?' argument and get on with arguing more valid topics, like the pros and cons of the AmigaOne & Pegasos or AOS & MOS.

ssolie spake wisely that .... Quote:
Backwards compatibility is [yawn] interesting to some but I want new stuff. I want that buzz I used to get flipping through Amiga magazines looking at the new product reviews.

I agree entirely with your train of thought ssolie ... I even said as much to Rogue ( I think it was him).

He said something along the lines of ...

"It would make our transition of os 4 to PPC a hell of a lot easier but we believer there would be an outcry from the present user-base".

I believe, to attract NEW developers, they have to SEE a viable market for THEIR products ... If we stick to using our OLD proggies ... Where's the will to make new ones, and therefore make money ??
