@PEB

2 new games from hyperion was shown.

though the sound on the radio was so damn low that i couldnt hear much + the webcamera was updating every 5th second so impossible to say much regarding speed or quality etc.

Ibrowse 2.4 , DVplayer , CandyFactory 2 bla bla was shown too.

think we need to sit down and wait for the gang to supply us with pictures and full reports.

@Mr_Capehill

yes i belive i heard that yes (OpenAL was ported) but aaargh why on earth was the sound so low and the clapping so damn loud

anyway it had something to do with clipping (think thats what rigo said) and thats why they had to reduce the sound level.

I am mostly interested in the new FPSE, but the hardware accelerated SDL sounds good. Finally I can watch movies with MPlayer without any frame drop. Nice.

@drHirudo

the stuff that was shown at the tables wasnt shown at the webcam/audio stream so we will have to wait for thoose things to appear in a proper review.

@Toaks

its typically microphone placement, coupled with
the available mixer setup...without overheads or
long cable runs, remote wireless setups,
multiple mics etc etc, its going to be like this.
Its possible they might mixdown the feeds later
if they were captured separately, with better balance...
