@Atheist

OK. Seems feasible. After all, the amigans are satisfied with just a little info.

@d0c

You are impersonating Rogue?

I remember this word from Rogue. I trust hyperion, they are doing what is possibile, you know.

As for your avatar with the screwdriver/welder, is really appropriate for the HW situation.

I don't care about the T-Shirt issue...

Sorry for stepping in here - but what T-Shirt issue are you talking about?

I didn't know we had a T-Shirt issue - all I know is we have a 50¤-rebate-coupon-issue.

and I think that was pretty much resolved a looooong time ago, did you order one and yet miss out on the very public fix?

Your thinking is wrong - at least in relation to me.
The 50¤-rebate-coupon-issue has not been resolved up to now.
No-one has received the coupon up to now.

And yes, I ordered one and received nothing up to today aside from an e-mail from AInc saying that they received the money.

If so please explain to the forum why the T-Shirt is still important to you.

As I tried to point out above, the important thing is *NOT* some childish T-Shirt - it is the 50¤-rebate-coupon that counts (and perhaps the livelong CAM membership).

I've got enough T-Sirts in my wardrobe!

The problem is that the 50¤-rebate-coupon-issue has been scaled down to a T-Shirt issue!

I heard that some guys received an T-Shirt instead of the rebate-coupon - but on my side nothing arrived up to today, although I updated my personal data (as Ray Akai requested).

So - please forgive me - from my point of view nothing has been resolved...

No - thanks! I've got enough socks as well - just OS4 for CSPPC is still missing (and the rebate coupon, of course)...

Do you want a flaming T-shirt included in the timeline? Don't forget the boinged underpant as well as Aros mascotte tattooed on the sock.

If you really want to make this work, then the only way forward is publicity.

It only makes sense that the market is holding back looking for a market other than classic amiga users before they take the final plunge.

I remember Eyetech looking for another market for the A1 with OS4.

The thing I suggest you do is spread the word. Show PC users what they are missing, and convert them, most people abandoned ship to the PC when commodore went down, and have not looked back, believeing that the amiga was no more, they don't even know about A1 or OS4, but I bet you if you showed them, then the memories would come flooding back, and they would ditch the PC in a second.

Drum up interest, create a higher demand and the A1 with OS4 will follow.

Its not going to be a case of "build it and they will come", its got to be a case of demand it and they will make it.

No - but perhaps you are interested in one of my beautiful red-white chequered "entire-body-condoms"?
