Really? I can think of a number of reasons why a board manufacturer would not contact Hyperion.

Hoax or not, Rickard R at least came out and said they were making a mobo for OS4. So far no other PPC motherboard maker aside from Eyetech has stated as such.

Like? How are you going to make ANY cost planning if you don't have an idea how much the OS will cost? Sorry, but any such nonsense sounds extremely fishy to me; contacting Amiga is not enough, they do not own OS 4.

Amiga Inc not Hyperion VOF. Hyperion VOF is to be contacted when you want
information or support, not licensing.

If this has changed and you are handling the licensing or anything you really
should tell that HMetal to update the website.

You cannot be serious, can you ? Rogue directly encouraged Richard to contact Hyerion in this very thread. Don't come up with "oh, but the website states something different". He obviously read this thread.

Even if the information is correct, if I'd build a ppc board, I'd be very much interessted in the effort (and cost) to port an OS to my platform, not only in the license costs. I wouldn't even consider a license, if it turns out a) I don't have the resources to get the OS working on my platform or b) nobody would do it for me (for various reasons). So, now, you tell me, that Richard "assumed", he would get OS4 running on his board anyway, without any technical background knowledge, no time estimates and no money allocated for the port ?

you refuse to "accept" those facts, there remain only 2 possibilities:
(1)Reading comprehension is a challenge for the poster or
(2)He understands the facts, but chooses not to "accept" them

Personally, I look quite strongly at (2), because I think @ironfist is well
aware of the process.

Realy, how many of those interested in licensing OS4 don't already know about Hyperion's involvement, their porting fee, that they do the work, etc.? Besides, if AI replied to license inquiries, surely they would inform the potential clients of Hyperion's involvement as part of making anything actually happen......

If you read my posts from before the first time ACK failed to demonstrate, you would see that I expressed my feelings that ACK was for real and would be a success. I gave ACK too much credit, it seems...

As for Troika, I *have* criticized them, on the basis that they have failed to show anything despite multiple statements that they would. I think Troika is a hoax. I also think Rickard R was a hoax. My point is, I don't see why Troika isn't treated as a hoax just as much as Rickard R has been. If anything, Rickard R at least announced a motherboard that he claimed would work with OS4, neither Troika nor ACK have even been able to do that. I realize this is just an academic question, but how is the Troika motherboard even Amiga-related? A hoax it may have been, but at least Rickard R came up with a hoax that was actually Amiga-relevant, even if it was only related by OS4.
