@Mikey_C

I didn't know the thread was generating that much hostilty outside itself.

Anyway, I just had to say what I said having only access to the thread itself.

Sometimes the anti blue brigade remind me of Mary Whitehouse's viewers and listeners association - the professionally offended.

I have noticed that you, yourself, tend to keep away from these type of thread and I respect that - it's a shame that these 'morally offended' types dragged you in to their game.
I really can't see how bbrv broke any more TOS than several other people on the thread - surely action should be taken on the number of proven complaints not just the number.

Anyway, I think I am breaking TOS by discussing this. I should have PM'd you - I'll shut up now.

@thread

Damn this thread has become a mess, and I am getting angry.

Everyone, LAY OFF THE PERSONAL INSULTS and provocations! The amount of cr4p that has been flung to and fro is simply mind-boggling. Tomazkid has already begun moderating this thread, I don't know if I would have the same patience, so everyone, let's tone it down a little shall we?

How can a PM be a "private" communication when it comes from an anonymous source?

It wasn't anonymous enough. As it was written, you could quite easily figure out the source by simply reading the whole thread.

I did that, and asked the author if it was ok to be published.
It was not, so it was a private PM.

@tomazkid

One should stand for what one say, if you're brave enought to say it trough PM you should be brave to do it in widely... likewise Cecilia should if she really wanted or had context for had shown the 'PM' BBRV had sent her, I think she is perfectly entitled to show it, namely as a proof... or should you just have to go trough the hassle of saying in your own words, changing verb tenses of what has been said to you and namely about you?

Do I have the right to receive unsolicited mail, unpleasent mail? Why, isn't it after all my Private Mail?

Say you receive a letter at home, aren't you entitled to show it to whoever you like? It's not under any NDA, where *both* parts agree not to share what is being written, it's not copyrighted...

Unless that one says that Cecilia has no right even to say that she was threatened by BBRV...

@all

Hello! Just wanted to point out my non-participation in this thread. And no, saimo and I are two very different individuals.

@bbrv

Please go on. Whatever you're trying to do here, I could never do a better job at displaying your complete inability to do anything good for the Amiga community.

@anyone

If this EFIKA thing doesn't run MorphOS, AmigaOS or AROS why was he here telling us about it? Does he not know who we are?

Oh great!

So Bill Buck has been banned for daring to post that he actually wants to do something in order to have hardware running OS4 and for actually having the hardware that could run it!

This whole fricking community is startng to stink to igh heaven. Some people here need to learn to grow up ad bury the hatchet. I saw him take far more "insults" i that other thread than he dished out, and while I strongly disagree with the way he worded some remarks, if we're all hding our beaths for these bloody Trokia/Samantha/Vixen boards then were all going to turn blue in the face and suffocate!

I actually pre-ordered an orginal A1 board and then withdrew the order due to production delays. All of this time I've been waiting for a solid PPC board that comes with OS4 and I'm still waiting. It's time to wake up and smell the coffee folks. If we don't have something soon then we never will. If Bill Buck thinks he can get a license then let him try. Those who hold the rights to OS4 should not hold back for personal reasons, but move forward for business reasons. If the whole offer turns up to be yet another attempt to blow smoke up this community's collective ass then flame away at this guy.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm tired of waiting and I'm tired of broken promises. I've bought countless laptops and desktops as I've waited for new Amiga hardware. I've got 2 A1200T and an A3000 gathering dust while waiting for a potential Vixen board. I don't want to see the years of work that have gone into OS4 be for nothing, but unless we get hardware soon (and Bill has WORKING hardware) then we run the risk of ending up with bugger all.

Commenting that I am not surprised by your comment, is now trolling? If I said I was surprised by your comment would that also be trolling? I mean is everyone here thats not suprised by your answer a troll?

@DoodooHead

The EFIKA "thing" doesn't run those now, but who knows about the future? Anyway, that's probably irrelevant. I was told in the past that the point of posting here wasn't to sell computers, but to help build momentum in power.org. I guess people can decide for themselves if or how anything said in this thread might mesh with that. bbrv started the thread by asking "Is there anything else?" and I hope after 37 pages the question has been answered.

Cheer up man. Like someone said on moo, it's only a hobby no need to get upset over this. Amiga is only for fun.

Everybody knows AROS is the only way forward. MOS and AOS4 are both dead in the water. There is no future for both MOS nor for AOS4. Too many egos/personalities/agendas clashing.

LOL. But if I don't buy an AMigaOne with OS4 then what am I going to do with my Amiga.inc coupon?
