1140000 x $100 or 114 million dollars. Lets be realistic, Hyperion would give Sony a discount...each copy of OS4 might cost Sony say $25. Now we're talking 28.5 Million dollars!
|
So, you propose a preinstallation of OS4 in every PS3. Then we have 1140000 potential users...so.. now just stop.. OMFG we have 1140000 users! We are the mainstream again!!! _________________

How much money would Hyperion make if AInc allows OS4.0 to be sold on PS3?

Ainc tries to buy all sources to Os4 for $2 million when they know that they will be making $28.5 million. To put it another way, Hyperion is entitled to $28.5 million per the signed contract between Hyperion and AInc and Ainc can't find a way to work the equation to get Sony to pay them too. |

A very interesting read indeed! Things begin to make sense if a small part of this alleged email from McEwen to the Friedens is true.
Consider this simple fact alone....PS3 has sold how many units so far? I read somewhere it is at least in excess of 1.14 million...lkely a lot higher. Lets use that as a figure.....
|
First of all there is about 6 Million PS3 shipped at this point. However, there is no way Sony is going to install OS4 in these systems, however a hardware base of 6 Million and growing for OS4, makes it much larger then the current alternatives, and frankly at a good price, a 1% of 0.5% buyin for OS4, would give us 30K-60K users and even at $50 a unit its 7 figures of cash for the company involved. -Tig

I think that if the Friendens really believed that this kind of funds were available, they wouldn't testify against Amiga Inc. |

I don't think that applies. They have a contract with Hyperion, so they wouldn't be able to anyway. |
This confuses me. Amiga contracts Hyperion, Hyperion contract Friedens. Amiga can't get ExecSG from Hyperion because its the Friedens own code Amiga can't get the code from the Friedens because they're under contract with Hyperion. Which one is it? Both?!? None?!? _________________ If you're going through hell, keep going. -Winston Churchill |

And just where the heck did Amiga come up with $2mil? How come all this money is all of a sudden available like the $10 mil for the Kent Center Name and $2Mill for OS4. It just sounds like a bunch Bill MCB.S. to me. If they have all this money and assests then why do they still have former employees unpaid and lawsuits for monies owed and such. Hmmnnn I dont want to sound negative but I just cant fathom where all these duckies have suddenly appeared in Amiga's bank accounts |

Well we know they picked up over 3 Million in sales of stock to other companies, so they probably have money. If McEwen really has a customer (or a new investor) they probably have even more money, so Hyperion is in trouble in the who has deeper pockets part of the game. -Tig

Atheist account is gone at his own request, so it does not exist anymore. And he is not banned here, though using another members account instead of creating a new one would be a TOS-violation.Last edited by tomazkid on 29-May-2007 at 11:10 PM.

I think thats a very good summary, of the whole court case, and in reply to your question, I would say both.
