Oh, sweet! So, if someone DID try to rip off MCoC or my character Arry, I'd have plenty of people to vouch that they're mine?

Not long to go now before the show

I see that you currently have 48 people who have pledged to go, and presumably a lot more will turn up who haven't pledged!

I was wondering if I brought a spare A4000 down and some bits and bobs do you think I would be able to flog em?

@rats

hi there,
I'm trying to discourage it because of lack of tables and the fact that Amigakit will be making the long journey with a truck load of goodies and they are also sponsoring the event too.

If you wanted to bring a small amount of things with you if there are enough tables we can find you some space. We are not charging for exhibitors, but most of them are donating prizes to go into the raffle, so that might be something you'd like to consider?

@niceguy1979

I've been asked by somebody about the location of the bash as the MAG website explains the two locations that we have held meetings at in the past.

I'd just like to say again, but I'm sure it's been stated lots of times before. The MAG UK Event will be taking place on Sat 1st Nov @ Earlsdon Methodist church hall in COVENTRY. CV5 6DN

If you want any information about travel, parking, public transport etc please let me know
See you all there.

@All

POLITE NOTICE

If you want to bring a machine with you or you are exhibiting please make sure you bring a 4 way adapter/extension reel and all necessaries (monitor, keyboard, mouse etc)

The venue does have sockets around the room, but to avoid disappointment bring those pieces of equipment with you.

@ Fuzion

Hope you can make it mate. Look forward to seeing you there.

@niceguy1979

We have just hit the magic figure of 50 pledges. This wasn't exactly the magic figure that I was hoping for to be honest, but if all those people turn up I wont be out of pocket.

So, thanks to everybody who has pledged and thank you to those select few who have prepaid. Your names have been added to the "guest list" so my wife doesn't stop you from coming into the event without parting with more cash. lol

If anybody needs any more information, directions etc please contact me

cheers

@FuZion

we take over the hall at 12.30 when the karate kids have left. if you want to turn up just a little before that that would be excellent. The more people helping getting those tables ready the better. If we have enough people we might be able to open the doors on time lol

See you there!

@niceguy1979

I wonder if it would be possible to bring my laptop.
I have a vanilla amiga Forever installed, and would like to upgrade to OS3.5 or 3.9, as well as amikit.
If I brought the relevant CD's with me would anyone know what to do?

Since I'm coming anyway, it shouldn't be a problem turning up a bit early if you need a couple of spare hands to help with setup.

I won't be able to attend now, I regeistered on the MAG site but somthing has come up at work I really wanted to see the Sam going to compare it with the old A1's.

To anyone else thinking of going, I have been to 2 of the Big Bash event's in Peterborough and they are a great day out where you get to see some Amiga people and often get to pick up the odd bargain and I don't think this event will be any different. Thanks to the guys that organise it, hopefully I will be able to get to the next one.
