I am sure everyone that has ordered a SAM440 will get one in the order ACube received the orders.

Of course if you are hoping to just get one next time an Amiga dealer has some spare ones in stock it maybe after Christmas before you see one going by the number of people who seem to have pre-ordered, going by this thread and similar discussions on other Amiga sites.

Doh it looks like the availability data on the SAM440ep has slipped again now till the 10th of December going by AmigaKits web site, just how hard is it to make more boards of an existing design

Delivery before Christmas is still possible but with each delay its looking less likely

Perhaps a new version of UBoot is being worked on and holding things up? I know that was covered off in another discussion about booting issues with multiple HD.

Maybe the "final" OS4.1 release for the Sam is coming as well.

If the delay can't be explained by hardware then it must be software.

I would rather have the board now and then update UBoot manually later.. I am kinda losing hope of having it before Christmas.. I wish they could be more public about the reason for delay.. I am also afraid about the lawsuit between hyperion and amiga inc.. I really hope they get those boards out before next court session....

As I had a delivery on Christmas Eve last year so I am not giving up hope yet, but each time it gets delayed I do get a bit more worried about ever seeing a board.

As for the hole possible new UBoot version I would rather just have the board now as well as I can update it myself anyway.

Thank you for your feedback. I don't quite understand you concerns about us- why are you worried about us not delivering?

This year we have successfully delivered to every customer on the following pre-order items: AmigaOS 4.1, Minimig, Deneb USB and Indivision AGA

There is no complex(conspiracy) scenarios here- it is simply a case of manufacturing time being extended due to component delays.

It is also important to point out that NO dealer has stocks of SAM440EP currently.

We are getting the pre-ordered motherboards out of the way first, which should be completed by mid December, then we will release our pre-built packages which we have been working on. These will be good

I dont think it was directed at amigakit.. I think it is more about the current legal issues between hyperion and amiga inc.
