I wasn't having a go at you, just wanted to show that people who care enough are willing to make the commitment (as you have done) and to put something "into the community".

There are just so many people who have nothing more to do than troll or make snide remarks without even knowing anything about what they talking about. It's nice to meet the people who "put their money where their mouth is" so to speak

Thats what we like Commitment,sod the expense go go go,I myself will be travelling from Johannesburg South Africa,brief stop at home in Camberley then on to the show total mileage about 6400

Oops, I assumed you were a local

That was a bit of Afrikaans, one of the languages native to South Africa. It's an evolved mix of mostly 17th century Dutch and French with a smattering of English; I'm sure any Dutch-speaking AW members here got the jist of what I was saying, even though it probably sounded archaic to them. It's sortof used as a secret handshake by South African expatriates.

@Ryu

I'm being charged £36 per night, booked though Book-O-Tel, I think I may be getting a discount as work has an arrangement with them, but no harm in giving them a try.

hmm £36 is a bit steap, I'll have to have a ring round on monday since I totally forgot on Friday despite posting here about it...

the train is costing me £30 return, that leaves another £20 for a room for the night... I hope its possible

I suppose that depends on your perspective, My stay over in London for ANT was £65 a night, so compared to that £36 is a bargain I know what you are getting at though.
