I find it quite important thing in the actual time we live in. It is one of the options that some certain hardware will never have, perhaps in year 2024 it gets a decent flash player ;)

| Now this is worth reading. Barry's reply to a gentlemen enquiring about the company's raw purchase price of the VIC units:
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/darrin01311/BtbReply1.gif
Not very professional. I'm assuming it will be deleted as some point once BtB has sobered up. :)
Sure as hell beats: “I’m afraid our bulk purchasing agreement for the VIC models is confidential, however we have used our purchasing power to obtain an excellent deal for our customers, especially when combined with our custom software and professional service and support”.
Hell, even "Mind your own business!" would have been an improvement. Last edited by Darrin on 13-Jun-2011 at 02:12 PM. Last edited by Darrin on 13-Jun-2011 at 02:07 PM.

What's the SAM got to do with anything, what is your fixation with the SAM? You need to go back and get the usual prescription. _________________ www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk |

I guess after months of personal attacks by people like you and Franko, he finally cracked.
This is nothing new in the Amiga Kommuity. Just about every significant company operating in this market has lashed out at one time or another. At least Barry didn't wish the majority of the Kommunity die in a fire. _________________ Power Mac G4 "Quicksilver 2002" 800Mhz, 1.5GB RAM, Radeon 8500 MorphOS 2.7 (Registered) $225 total spent! |

I haven't "lashed out" or "attacked" him on his website at all. Unfortunately, these knee-jerk responses of him are becoming more and more typical and it is rather pathetic that you're attempting to defend them. Look at the abuse Bill Gates and Steve Jobs get on a daily basis, and you don't see them abusing and threatening people on their websites. Honestly, this is not the professional image you want to project when you're doing buesiness unless you're trying to attract WWF fans. In all honesty, it is bordering on mentally unbalanced. Yes, the question posed didn't deserve an accurate answer, but it deserved a better one than the answer given.

So, people get insulted and bashed, and they cannot respond?. The reason Jobs and gates didn't respond themselves is because they have a big budget of lawyers that take care of that things. I'm not defending anyone, but given the basing cusa has given by people we all know how, it's strange that he didn't do it earlier.

| I hope one day I'll understand what's exactly the point in glorifying what's CUSA is doing, and even more what's the point in bashing it again and again like foaming dogs.

You prefer to do it on AO.

You find the term "finally cracked" as a strong defense? I am simply stating fact.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have not been involved in startup companies since the 1970's, there were no webites back then.

That is the staging area inside a major assembly facility in China with boxes of C64x parts. The other pic shows pallets of C64x CPU and motherboard.

Of course they can respond, but as a professional business owner you're not supposed to be giving ammo to the tabloids or alienating your customers. _________________ AmigaOne X1000, A4000(T), A3000, A2000, A1200(T), A1200, A500, CD32, Minimig+ARM, FPGA Arcade, Chameleon64, C-One, C128, C128D, C64C, C64, VIC-20, CBM 8032, CBM4032, Efika, Ultimate64 |

There's a difference between private emails and public forums. Also, I didn't see Jobs attacking the guy's wife or offering to assualt him. ;) _________________ AmigaOne X1000, A4000(T), A3000, A2000, A1200(T), A1200, A500, CD32, Minimig+ARM, FPGA Arcade, Chameleon64, C-One, C128, C128D, C64C, C64, VIC-20, CBM 8032, CBM4032, Efika, Ultimate64 |

Yes, I raise valid questions on AO. In my opinion the CUSA website is theirs to advertise their products. I don't see why I should go there and make issues unless I actually buy a product. Mind you, with the forum nazis they have operating there I wouldn't expect any of my posts to last more than 5 seconds and my account to be deleted shortly thereafter.
"Finally cracked" might work as a defense if it wasn't an established trait that has been going on for months.
at 60 years old, BtB should still know better. He's hardly a "start-up" when it comes to business.
So who made the fire remark, when and in what context? _________________ AmigaOne X1000, A4000(T), A3000, A2000, A1200(T), A1200, A500, CD32, Minimig+ARM, FPGA Arcade, Chameleon64, C-One, C128, C128D, C64C, C64, VIC-20, CBM 8032, CBM4032, Efika, Ultimate64 |

The bottom one? And this is where? When were those photos taken? Did you take them?

It's pretty clear here that as of May 10th posting, that some parts were requiring a 6-8 weeks lead time. It's also clear that the suprisingly high response meant that more parts needed to be acquired. I'm just wondering about whether enough parts are available now to bring the facility online. You mentioned it was not online yet, which is logical if they do not have all the parts.
