No. I'm still waiting on negotiated rate and code.
It will be posted when available.

@Moxee

I believe the hotel is 2 years old, looking in a mirror, I'm a bit older.

If you want to get the jump on everybody else, www.hotels.com right now has an average rate $100 per night for one bed or $104 per night for two beds at the show's Holiday Inn Express. The rate does not include hotel tax. Other providers may provide better prices, such as Priceline.com, Hotwire.com, etc..

TABLE AND SPONSORSHIP FEES FOR AMIWEST 2011

Hyperion Entertainment to Sponsor AmiWest 2011

The information above is about the table fee. Please do not confuse that with presentations/demos. For those planning on doing a presentation/demo:

President Brian Deneen encourages all potential presenters to contact Amiwest with their subjects and their time projections for their presentations.
amigaprez at amiwest.net

The sooner you can contact Brian to discuss your plans, the sooner Brian can work out a tentative schedule. Early commitments also allow for early promotion of the show events as well, which can only serve to help boost attendance.

Please note:You do NOT need a table in order to speak to Brian about a presentation/demo.
Some speakers will obviously want to adjourn to a table to allow for followup to their presentation and for attendees to have "hands on" experience with what has been presented on the show schedule.
Currently, until I'm informed otherwise, the goal is to have shorter presentations/demos, allowing for more "hands on" time afterwards.

Still no hotel rate for the show, guess I'll need to stay at a cheap motel 6 this year.

The Super 8 Hotel is just 4.5 miles away on Madison Ave.. http://www.super8.com They have better accomodations than a Motel 6 and have free wi-fi. If you belong to the AAA, Government, Senior, or AARP categories, you can get an even better rate.

And if you enroll at their website,
you can build points to a free stay,

@RobertB

Thanks, it may come down to a 1 night stay at the show hotel or a 2 night stay somewhere else this year, I'll check it out.

Not bad, $97 for 2 nights & that includes the tax.

It looks like I have some cool info to share for this years show. I'll be showing the latest builds of the iAmiga emulation system for IOS (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch) So far it looks great and runs very well. I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone again after such a long time away, though I have been quietly lurking here for years still.

Gee, I am more out of touch than I thought. I never heard of this. How long has this been around?

Not long, its not released as a stand alone emulator yet. However to get a feel for how well it works you can try out the Defender of the Crown release from the IOS Appstore. It uses the emulator under its hood and is the actual Amiga releases running emulated.

Kool. Only one problem, I don't and haven't ever played any games. Well, I tried Railroad Tycoon a couple of times on my OS3.9 060 machine because I am a rail fan. But in all honesty I've just never acquired any interest in playing games.

I can wait for the release.
