Is this still X1000 from Betatester scheme ? or is this the one we were able to order via Amigakit ("First Contact"). In case the second answer applies, I am wondering, that I didn't get anything back from Amigakit yet... expect the link were I could order (what I did...).

Beta tester. At one point I was wondering if I would get my X1000 before the First Contact ones were out ! I did wait for a white case though - nice aren't they.
Don't worry you'll get your order, just a bit later I guess. Don't ask me as I have no further info and if I did I would be shot for telling you.

awesome. i intend to give it a workout via the updated REXX interface in v1.7 -- should make for a great demo, actually. and that white case is brilliant. i was planning on the black, but i've changed my mind.

Nice links thanks! The white version gets my vote  Not yet sure it gets my money, but we'll see. My wife has fallen in love with the iMac but if the X1000 were able to offer a sound editing solution then maybe she could be persuaded to opt for a X1000 instead  Any chance of getting Audacity ported?
