Brilliant news!
Unrelated really, in the current version it doesn't seem to be possible to permanently hide the status bar. Unchecking status in view menu works, but never saves with the rest of the settings. _________________ gtmooya's blog |

Its new beta-mui which will come with aos4.2. Through theme is recreating of ferox theme from morphos, which copyrighted, so it will be not included by default with mui of course, but you will be able to just download it somethere and use. I do not know when os4.2 will be relesed through, my bet is one more year :) @clusteruk |
Okay, I have seen these rounded corners before and wondered how to obtain it! Looked at GUI prefs and couldn't find a way to do it _________________ SAM 460 with 2GB or RAM, 1000GB HD, 4 port SATA, DVDRW drive and Radeon HD 4650 GFX card. |

| @all Some news:
After some time of boredom, at least we with Deniil found a bug which crash few threads on startup. So, some more small bug-fixes, and release.
Thanks you for donations, and you of course feel free to contunue to do so. As i say i already share them with Fab, so you can be not worry that i take your buks for yourself only or kind. Dont forget to also Thore and Deniil, they both worth of gifts as well, Thore for mui, and Deniil for the helping me out with all the coding problems.

Dunno .. maybe just my default system font like this, or maybe jpg compression while a make screen. Fonts requester now are fully mui4 too, so can be anything.

I think now, mui on os4 are fully and 100% mui4 in almost all the areas , expept one : titles. Still not everything good about, but all the others, like prefs of mui, laytous, frames, coloring of everything, and all the bits kind of the same. All the users and 3d party coders will be kind of happy because of that i think.

The rounded corners and "recessed" window title areas are easily done in OS4.1 - it's not in the GUI preferences, but is a theme which needs to be applied separately. There are some themes included in the default 4.1 install IIRC, and a bunch more on OS4Depot.net in graphics/Themes. I think the curved corners one was one of the ones included though, so you probably already have it - it's called SilverGreen, and you should find it in your SYS:Prefs/Presets drawer. The themes in OS4.1 simply consist of a drawer containing all the graphics, and an icon which you double-click to activate or save it. SilverGreen is a nice theme, and it's the theme I've used myself for years
As for the topic, excellent work you guys! It's an impressive bit of code from Fab, and some fantastic work getting the port across, fixing it for OS4, getting MUI up to scratch and so on... Great to see the positives in the community at work, producing results and getting the praise they deserve!_________________ RobTheNerd.com | InstallerGen | SMBMounter | Atoms-X |

Donation sent.
I will try to send more again later.
Depending upon the success of the Timberwolf port of Firefox, to OS4.1.5, with regard to speed and features, this port of Odyssey may be the most important port for OS4.x users for many months to come. Even if Timberwolf works perfectly, it is most likely that Odyssey 1.17 for OS4.1.5 will still be much faster and lighter weight than Timberwolf, so will be better suited to use on SAM systems with their weaker CPU's, so it will still be an important port, in addition to the port of Firefox in the form of Timberwolf.
I am still using OWB-MUI now, for almost all of my browsing from OS4.1.5 and Odyssey 1.16 from MorphOS2.7 & 3.0 beta. It is a great web browser. _________________ Amiga! The computer that inspired so many, to accomplish so much, but has ended up in the hands of . . . . . . . . . . |

| Kas1e, good work and thanks very much to Fab. When the AOS4 version is fully equal to the latest MorphOS version it will cement itself as my main browser on AOS4 -- likely regardless of Timberwolf status. It's going to be great on the forthcoming netbook, I bet.
Your on my donation list, but I can't do anything about it for a few weeks. But I won't forget.

Is it possible to change it so the preceding tab position is the url address bar followed by the search field? Being able to tab onto the icons in-between is kinda of annoying and doesn't fit with how other mainstream browsers behaviour. Otherwise, great news. :) _________________
