A dream HD camcorder would be in the $1,500 range... something like a Sony HVR-Z1U or a Canon XH-A1. Yes, those are older models, but there are newer models that still use miniDV tapes. After recently attending a video-editing class, I heard good things about the Canon C100 (at $6,000!) and the Canon C300 (more than double the price of the C100!). Unfortunately, those cameras are out of my price range. (But it's still nice to think about them...)

Yeah, I was not in control of the wireless mics. I could not even monitor the sound through any headphones. All I saw was a rough estimate of the sound level on the VU meter in my camera.

Very true. The amount of audio gear Bill brings to Amiwest reminds me of the full carload of Commodore and Amiga stuff I bring for CommVEx.

Thanks Robert, there were some very good points discussed, and I agree that we have great hardware platforms with OS4, and and as these move into the used market, it will provide a way for more people to buy and create a larger customer base to attract more software development.

We just don't want to let go of our used Amigas. :)
