All - My apologies. I posted here yesterday that I got Internet up and running already thanks to the help of all of you. For some reason only a double post edit showed up and the one telling about the resolution of the problem got deleted,

What made my Internet connection work was a post from Hyperx suggesting to delete all IP addresses in the windows of Prefs/Internet for routes, dns, etc.

Again, thank you all for the overwhelming support. You guys rock.
