Someone needs to delete or rename this thread.

That would be a complete absurd thing to do.

@pavlor

then go apply for a mod on unified aorg+awnet, would be easier than attract new members certainly.

I call it as I see it - and this thread is all too evident that after all these years, some people just like to put the boot in for the sake of it, because it suits their agenda.

Its like fighting for the contents of a house, after the house has burnt down.

i hear ya & fully agree!

@wawa

Then why do you say, "i dont see any apology" if you are not blind?

kjmann's join date is may 2014. He was not "in place" before Amigakit took over.

Joining this forum yes, he isn't a mod here, I was refering to Amiga.org.

Well put.

Some people are here to build, others are here to tear down.

Not an easy thing to moderate, for sure.

You may want to read the first post of this discussion thread again. Please note the word "never". This was not a "temporary ban" pending a review. This was clearly communicated as a permanent ban for actions the moderator in question assumed may happen at some point in the future.

Then I suggest you learn to communicate in a friendly way, even if it is a negative post.

yes, and cg was reffering to aorg too. kjmann has registered here just in order to anwer in this thread, but he isnt a member of aorg that much longer. it appears he wasnt a member at all before he became a moderator. so could you check your facts before posting again, please?

So you are simply ignoring the mods apology?

Or can't we just not get along already

if you populate a burnt down or squatted house you need to arrange with other inhabitants. you may accuse everyone of tearing down what you have built, but as long as you dont consult and realize it is not your own, just because you think and say so, there will be nisunderstandings. that for sure.

@wawa

So you're saying that no-one should contribute to the community until they have your permission?
Sorry, I don't see that happening any time soon.

AmigaKit owns a.org.

AmigaKit lets the worst possible candidates run as moderators on a.org.

S##t goes down.

Reputation run into the ground by AmigaKit and nobody else and ultimatly fully deserved as they (he?) choose the wrong moderators for what is (was?) supposed an open community forum.

In the Italian Amiga "news" site hosted on the A-Cube server it's even worse: the administrators "promoted" a well known troll as "moderator". For what? Simple: defend the OS4 faith and shut-up who has different opinions.

Insults and offenses are very common, and the trolls play a well defined game: one starts insulting the "heretical", so if the victim reacts, the moderator can inflict penalties to him, with the clear purpose to ban at third penalty.

Some users even auto-suspended themselves from the forum, after have being treated as stupids...

Although I still feel a threat is as bad as an action, eliyahu is right that people must remain innocent until proven guilty.

If he does post such things then I will take action if necessary. in the meantime, his ban has been lifted. My apologies to the community for jumping the gun.

does that sound like an apology?

Back before you joined, this site was about helping ppl, New NG systems, os4 just came out, many of us came together to help each other solve problems, we didn't fight like now. many of the members here still do that, thats what Lyle was trying to say. A lot of us have figured out where you fit in....just saying.
