Just for remember what is Xquartz
(xorg-server 1.14.5.901)

The quartz-wm window manager included with the XQuartz distribution uses the Apple Public Source License Version 2.

GlxGears Mesa Xquarz on G5 Quad

it is installed by default on my Machine ... Tiger, Leopard and El Captain

Nonsense, do you really think you are the only one running OS X here? I have El Capitan too, it is _not_ installed by default - you need to download XQuartz from http://www.xquartz.org for it. And what does the public license have to do with anything? Are you under the impression that anyone using an Apache license are then part of Apache, or that anyone using MIT license are "owned" by MIT?

@kolla

never download Xquartz in my life ... all time installed with the os and X dev tools from Xcode .

Is not a part of the os like are not part of the Os AmigaOs SDK but did by Hyperion but GCC is not an hyperion tools like Xquartz did by Apple ... and Xorg isnt apple app :P

The XQuartz did or not by Apple with licenze of X.org continue be perfect integrate with the system and make devs make porting simple too osx .
