I have a spare HD6670 that worked fine on Linux, I could replug it but I don't have a free VGA free input on my monitor (took by a MiST).

Tested RC5 & RC6, both the same problem.

Is somebody else have a SouthernIsland Radeon ?

Since the second CPU is not active until the kernel boots the idx 0... failed is normal.

agpgpu or amdgpu?

hehe you true Guillaume, but my machine are in my man cave, and only tablets and laptops are at home... i need better organize my machines


edit: Guillaume did you have an ati radeon installed on your machine?
if yes pull of it and make the test again.
i just now see the ati byte swap enabled and the pcie init.

I have released some Alpha7 kernels for testing today.

New: Linux Git log

FYI:

vmlinux-4.5-a7-without-radeon -> Alpha7 with AMDGPU support but without Radeon support
vmlinux-4.5-a7-without-radeon_with_fb -> Alpha7 with AMDGPU support, without Radeon support but with FB support
vmlinux-4.5 -> Alpha7 with AMDGPU, Radeon, and FB support

Download: vmlinux-4.5-alpha7-AmigaONE_X1000.tar.gz

I tested all these kernels with my XFX Radeon HD6870 today. The kernels vmlinux-4.5-a7-without-radeon and vmlinux-4.5-a7-without-radeon_with_fb boot but without screen output. I was able to login via SSH. Maybe the R7 and the R9 users have a screen output.
The kernel vmlinux-4.5 boots with screen output.

I just tested vmlinux-4.5-a7-without-radeon & vmlinux-4.5 (alpha7) with command

boot -elf -noints -fatfs usbdisk0:vmlinux-4.5-a7-without-radeon console=ttys0,115200
and
boot -elf -noints -fatfs usbdisk0:vmlinux-4.5 console=ttys0,115200

=> no more serial output and the same black screen.

Is Console option are to be included in the boot command ?

i m starting thinking is not a video board problem. you have to see a splash or the tty output in any way ...
can you try with radeon.modeset=1 radeon.agpmode=-1 _ add this on the command line options.
Use the kernel with radeon module.

im not a uboot expert in openfirmware i just need that for have the readeon init

Thank you for testing. You need console=ttyS0,115200 in your boot arguments.

For example:
