Good point, and I agree.

But I would hope that some constructive comments/feedback is wanted? For example, the p240 quality made it close to impossible to read the text displayed during powerpoint presentations.

Ofcourse, the main information is conveyed thru voice, so its not a big issue.
Additionally, I also think most of us are VERY greatful towards Bill and the AmiWest crew. I guess we should remember to add praise together with feedback, so its not only "negative" comments regarding the videos.

The issue with not being able to see the powerpoints could be fixed by uploading them to google drive and linking to them in the video description. Then we could open them in one window and watch the video in another one.

@CodeSmith

Good idea.

My bet is Trevor made a Hollywood Designer presentation and not a Powerpoint one.... but that's just my guess.

Thanks for tuning in during the stream. One of the scary parts is the hotel network and how much bandwidth is available. Plus all the other tables on the show floor are running off the same pipe. I'll try to jack it up a little bit next year.

Trevor's presentation was a PDF but Hans presentation was Hollywood.

If you did not catch it when I reviewed the setup, this year I got a HDMI splitter which helped on the in room presentation. I also had a device that would convert HDMI to AV and ran that in to the toaster. I was very happy with the quality of the setup.

For next year I plan on running the audio stream again. This time it will be coming from an Amiga 1200 via the Prisma MegaMix, if I can get the technology worked out :p

Finally, I would apperciate any constructive criticism or thoughts on how we can make it better for next year. I like the idea of posting the release at the same time, or very shortly after but that requires a level of coordinate that's tough to do during the show.

Thanks all!!!

@RobertB @Bill

Thankyou, Robert and Bill for all the time and effort that this body of work must entail, and of course all those who create the content, without which there would be nothing to film, not forgetting the financial backers whose contributions ease the burden of creation.
