Question for Hyperion: Will rv280 support make it into OS4.0 Update4?

The rv280 is the lowest specced Radeon card I can buy brand new (I dont want to buy second hand). And its dirt cheap. I know I wont get the max 3d performance out of this card on my A1, but it will give me higher resolutions and more RAM than my Voodoo3. I'm running out of gfx card RAM with all my screens. I'm hoping I might get a few more fps out of MAME with something newer too.

So now all that has to be decided is what card to get to go with Amy05.

7100, 8500 and 9200pro on the used market all 300MHz models or
the 9250 new in most parts.

I would probably get a used 8500 or 9100. Despite the lower "number" these are generally faster than the crippled 9250.
I don't care so much about something being new or used in this price-range.

I guess all current 9250 cards only support AGP 4x and 8x.
Cards have to support AGP 2x to work properly in the A1.

I would prefer the 9250, if it would be possible, as it can work with passive cooling only.
