We are waiting for the hardware.... Some are real, but some are fake.

If you have somthing to say, say it in music.

Here's mine: (Wham: Club Amiworld(Tropicana))

Club "Amiworld, the smiles are free",
"Flaming reply" - there's enough for everyone.
All that's missing is an "Hardware piece"
But don't worry, you can "SOLDER"!

Your songs?

Survivor's Eye of the Tiger seems quite appropriate...

One of my favourite songs, taken from Rocky 3, shame it wasn't from Rocky 4!

Risin' up, back on the scene,
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now we're here to fight Gates,
Just Amiga, its will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
We were all let down by Gateway
Don't lose your grip on boing balls from the past,
We fight to keep Amiga alive

Chorus:
It's the eye of Amiga, it's the cream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of Microsoft,
And the last known survivor's an Amigan with might
And he's watchin' us all with the help of Fleecy Moss

Face to face, we won't repent,
Hangin' tough, with OS4,
They stack the odds, they've got ninety per cent
Of the market share that we want

chorus

Risin' up, back to the top
Like it was in the nineties,
With AmigaOne we're not gonna stop
Just Amiga, its will to survive

(From Acute Schizophrenia Paranoia Blues by the Kinks)

I'm too terrified to walk out of AmigaWorld
They're demonstrating outside I think they're gonna start a platform war
I've been to my local head shrinker
To help classify my disease
He says it's one of the cases of Amiga schizophrenia he sees.

Well, Fleecy's a spy and Bill McKewen keeps on following me,
And Mikey C's an undercover for the KGB.
And the man from Genesi
Keeps on invading my privacy
Oh, there aint no cure for Amiga schizophrenia disease.

I've got acute schizophrenia, paranoia too
Schizophrenia, schizophrenia
I got it,
You got it,
We can't lose
Acute AmigaAnywhere blues.

We're lost on the river, the river of no return
They can't make decisions, I don't know which they're gonna turn.
Even Alan Redhouse, lost some of the best friends he ever had.
Apparently, this was a case of Amiga schizophrenia too.

I've got acute schizophrenia, paranoia too
Schizophrenia, schizophrenia
I got it,
You got it,
We can't lose
Acute AmigaAnywhere blues.

They're watching my house and they're tapping my telephone.
I can't trust nobody but I'm much too scared to be on my own.
And the big computer companies, have got their beady eyes on me.
Oh, there aint no cure for Amiga schizophrenia disease.

----

Was supposed to be a bit self-deprecating and no offense intended to anyone. Just having a laugh that's all!

Chris

@AmigaBlitter

I'm sure if someone put there mind to it they could alter the lyrics to Dire Straits "Industrial Disease" to suit this thread !!

Here's the real lyrics for Eye of the tiger, for comparison...

Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

Chorus:
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds 'til we take to the street
For we kill with the skill to survive

chorus

Risin' up, straight to the top
Have the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

chorus

The eye of the tiger (repeats out)...

........................................................................

Pink Floyd's Another brick in the wall...

Can someone repackage it as "another buck in Gates's pocket?"

And now for something different... NOT for a light hearted or the youth...

Quote:

There she goes shaking that OS4 on the A1
Bumpin and grindin that machine
The way she's grindin that machine
I think I'm losing control

Get buzzed, get drunk, get crunked, get f#cked up
Hit the Amiga Club don't forget ones to get your OS rubbed
Get f#cked, get sucked, get wasted, sh!t faceted
Pasted, blasted, puke drink up, get a new drink
Hate Amiga Inc, throw up
Wipe your HarDisk clean, got a subroutine
Knowin still got a few chunks on your desktop
Showin OS4 was not installed till the GreamReaper appeared
I was revived as soon as this OS gyrated
And hips and licked the screen and that was it
I had to get AInc here to sing some sh!t
