I guess it was inevitable, but development of AVD has slowed down (se here). Well, everyone needs to earn money to live and I'm impressed that he was able to work on it full-time for as long as he did.

The good news is, of course, that he's still going to continue development and we will see a release eventually. Hopefully he will get his other company, AbuckAmegAyear LLC, to the point that it provides enough income for him to get back to AVD soon.

Hans

Dang, I was really hoping to get the AVD software as soon as OS4 final was out. I've already paid for it, after all. Maybe after some hardware comes out and some newcomers join up for the AmigaOS 4 party there will be some better options for Jamie.

Yep, it would have been good to have it ready, but thats life I suppose. I've only seen/got what was last released to the earlybird subscribers - it would be good to know how much more advanced development is on top of that.

@Hans

Maybe some of the Amiga sites will be able support his web hosting company by making the switch.

@Rob

Yes that would help.
