Also software not included in the screen shoots should be clearly marked.

IIRC, Amiga OS4 comes with a lite version of DvPlayer. I can't remember what the restrictions were, as I bought a registered copy ages ago. IMHO, it's worth getting the full version of DvPlayer.

I think it also only plays mpeg1 + mpeg2 and Doovdé.

DvPlayer you guys say.....maybe we classic users can play 320x256 res. movies

I think that is very likely, DvPlayer is highly optimised when compared to most other video players out there.

I did a quick comparison between DvPlayer and Mplayer on my 1Gz Amigaone with this video RS2000 advert, which has a resolution of 352x288.

Measuring the CPU usage with CPU Watcher, DvPlayer used an average of 21% and Mplayer used and average of 52%.

For an indication of how fast it will be, download Riva, its a 68K mpeg player and was also written by Stephan Fellner.

I have heard of this scam before. A tricky seller delays the buyer just long enough so they have no official way to complain or get their money back. That way it is just between the seller and the buyer with nobody else involved. The seller knows the buyer will probably just give up given the small amounts involved and moves on to the next victim.

I think you can play 640x480 16 bits on GFX card whit out any problems,
maybe 800x600, well depending on type compression (.avi/.divx/.mpg)
